Krasnodar Park (unofficially Galitsky Park) is a city park located northeast of the center of Krasnodar in southern Russia. The park was built with funds from businessman Sergey Galitsky and opened on September 28, 2017. It covers 22.7 hectares. The Japanese Garden in Krasnodar Park opened on March 30, 2023. The garden covers 7.5 hectares, with 3,591 meters of walking trails. The garden features 6,700 trees, 5,900 shrubs, and 280,000 flowers. The garden has 26 locations, as well as a restaurant, café, museum, and restrooms. The entire architecture is designed in traditional Japanese style. Admission to the garden is limited but free; to preserve its appearance, no more than 250 people are admitted at a time. It is the largest Japanese garden in the world outside of Japan.
