- The most important question about the future turned out not to be about artificial intelligence. There is an old maritime tale that says when storms appeared on the horizon, it was not the strongest ships that survived, nor the most expensive ones. It was those whose captains noticed the shift in the wind before everyone else. While attending ACEDE 2026 in Santander, I found myself returning to this thought time and again. Over the course of several days, I listened to researchers, academics, and industry experts from across the world. At first glance, the topics seemed remarkably diverse, yet beneath the surface a common thread connected them all. The central question of the conference was simple: How can organisations adapt faster than the world around them is changing? Three themes dominated the conversation: 🤖 Artificial Intelligence 🌱 Sustainability & ESG 🚀 Digital Transformation What fascinated me most was that even discussions centred on artificial intelligence were rarely about technology alone. They were about people — about how organisations cultivate new skills, how leaders navigate uncertainty, and why some businesses embrace change while others resist it. Sustainability was another recurring theme, though not merely in the environmental sense. Researchers explored how ESG practices influence innovation, talent attraction, organisational resilience, and long-term competitiveness. Increasingly, sustainability is being viewed not as a separate initiative, but as an integral part of strategic decision-making. Digital transformation revealed a similar pattern. One conclusion surfaced repeatedly throughout the conference: the greatest challenge facing organisations is not the lack of technology. Rather, it is the growing gap between the pace at which technology evolves and the pace at which people, processes, and institutions adapt. The more presentations I attended, the clearer one idea became. 👇 continued in the comments

- WHY DO PROPHETIC DREAMS HAPPEN? 🌙 Have you ever dreamt about something... and then watched it happen in real life? Science doesn’t confirm that dreams can literally predict the future. However, researchers have discovered several fascinating reasons why some dreams feel prophetic. 1️⃣ Your brain predicts outcomes while you sleep According to Harvard dream researcher Dr Deirdre Barrett, dreams often help the brain process information and solve problems outside conscious awareness. Sometimes your mind notices patterns before you do, making a dream feel like a prediction. (American Psychological Association) 2️⃣ Your subconscious is constantly collecting clues A 2014 study on «precognitive dreams» suggested that seemingly prophetic dreams may result from unconscious processing of environmental signals and hidden information that our conscious mind overlooks. (PubMed) 3️⃣ Dreams reflect real-life concerns Psychologist G. William Domhoff’s Continuity Hypothesis proposes that dreams are closely connected to our daily experiences, emotions, and worries. In other words, dreams often mirror what is already developing in our lives. (ResearchGate) 4️⃣ REM sleep enhances insight and creativity Recent research found that people who dream about unresolved problems are significantly more likely to discover solutions after waking. During REM sleep, the brain creates unexpected connections between ideas. (The Washington Post) 5️⃣ We remember the hits and forget the misses Scientists point out that there is currently no accepted scientific evidence that dreams can genuinely foresee future events. However, many people remember the few dreams that match reality and forget the hundreds that don’t. ✨ Here’s the fascinating part: Even though science has not proven that dreams predict the future, many researchers agree that dreams can reveal hidden fears, desires, intuitions, and possibilities before we consciously recognise them. So perhaps prophetic dreams aren’t really about seeing the future... Perhaps they’re about understanding the present more deeply than we realise. 👇 Have you ever had a dream that later came true? - 🕵️♀️ THE SECRET LIFE OF A PhD STUDENT I have now been on my PhD journey for six months, and I still find myself wondering how everything manages to fit into a single schedule. During this time, I have completed my first research article, which is now ready for publication. I have also started work on a second paper, which has already been submitted for peer review. Alongside this, I have attended around seven academic events and, on 10 June, I will be travelling to ACEDE 2026 — a major three-day conference bringing together PhD researchers and academics from around the world. To be perfectly honest, I am not entirely sure where the time comes from. Between research, work, everyday responsibilities, and all the little demands of daily life, my days already seem quite full. And yet, somehow, there is always room for one more paper, one more conference, one more opportunity to learn something new. Perhaps that is what happens when you genuinely enjoy what you do. What initially feels overwhelming gradually becomes part of your routine, and step by step, meaningful progress begins to emerge. Looking back, it is remarkable how much can happen in just 6 months. So far, my PhD journey has included: ✔️ 1 research article ready for publication ✔️ 1 paper submitted for peer review ✔️ Around 7 academic events attended ✔️ Participation in the international ACEDE 2026 conference The first 6 months are behind me. The adventure, however, is only just beginning ✨

- LOVE DOESN’T BEGIN WITH WORDS, BUT WITH THE FEELING OF PEACE BESIDE SOMEONE ❤️ There was a time when I thought love always arrived loudly. With confessions that lasted until sunrise, messages that kept you awake at night, and emotions that felt like fireworks 🎆 But one day, I realised that the most important things happen in a completely different way. It was already dark outside. Beautiful lights were glowing in the streets, and the soft hum of people talking filled the restaurant ✨ We were talking calmly, like old acquaintances who hadn’t seen each other in years. We weren’t friends, yet we spoke about everything and nothing. One topic after another. There were no limits to our jokes, our words, or our thoughts. I didn’t need to choose the perfect phrase or try to be better than I was. And suddenly, I caught myself thinking that this was exactly the person I wanted beside me. Not because he was handsome. Not because he was intelligent. Not because he was hardworking. But simply because he was HIM. I didn’t want to change him or reshape him into someone else. I just wanted him exactly as he was. At that moment, a very strange feeling appeared inside me — a clear sense that this was the person I was meant to be beside. I don’t know why. No reasons. No proof. 🤍 No need to impress. No need to earn affection. And that’s when I understood something important: love doesn’t arrive when your heart starts beating faster. Love arrives when your heart stops being AFRAID ❤️ When it feels secure in someone’s reliability, honesty, and presence. Perhaps that’s why the strongest feelings rarely announce themselves loudly. They live in simple things. In a glance. In a random touch. In conversations about everything and nothing. In the feeling that there is someone beside you with whom you can simply EXHALE 🌿 And if one day you find yourself feeling calm instead of overwhelmed beside someone, don’t rush to look for a catch. Maybe that’s what love truly looks like. Not loud. Not performative. But REAL
